Choice, “Revised Edition” 2010 (ISBN) 0-88427-193-5
In this
book the two Goldratt, Father and daughter, talk about “how the interrelation
of emotions, intuition and logic influences our ability to think clearly”. The
same ability that Eli encouraged us to use when solving problems in
professional decisions, it is recommended if we “wish to reach a full life”.

| The Choice |
This revised
edition contains Efrat’s notes. These are brief notes that describe the mental
processes Eli’s daughter had in the way she realized she (and all of us) have “Freedom
of Choice”. She uses logical maps. They are not exactly “Trees” like CTR or FRT
in TOC Thinking Process. You can follow her progress whilst she reaches four
main lessons her father taught:
1.- Every
situation Is simple (Inherent simplicity)
2.- Every
conflict can be removed
3.- There
is always a win-win solution (People are good)
4.- Every
situation can be substantially improved.
The logical
map in page 222, summarizes her findings.
